Using Your Mala:
First key point – trust your intuition, let it guide you. There is no right or wrong way to interact with your mala.
I like to sit quietly with my mala for a few minutes. Take a couple of deep cleansing breaths and focus on the beads, how they feel in my hands. Then I set my intentions by reciting a mantra (you can create one yourself, or find one that resonates with you) eg; “I am filled with love and light.”
With practice working with your mala becomes a nice daily habit. As a mom of a very busy toddler, a few moments to myself is a rare treat.
